Born in Canada, answers to the name Inca, Mr. Binx, Professor Binks, Inkie Dinkie, Insie, and Sugar Muffin.
Incredibly sweet and outgoing, Hague/Inca just loves to snuggle up to people and children. Inca knows how to open doors and the refridgerator too. Once in awhile I can catch him snoozing on top of a large marble table, where it is nice and cool! Inca is the star of his own children's book, "Inca Dink, The Great Houndini" and artwork based on his likeness has sold throughout the United States.
Hague has earned his CD Obedience Title by earning two first places and one second place in three different obedience competitions, and Inca has also earned his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title and is a ThD (certified therapy dog).
Hague enjoys doing pet therapy at a local hospital, working with cancer patients, pediatrics, and much more. He also visits a local elementary school nearly every day, where he is known as Professor Binks and has his own parking spot.
In addition to being an ARBA Champion, Hague is an IABCA Jugend Champion and has earned several first place ribbons, including for Best Foreign Bred Male at the National Leonberger Show in 2000. Inca has also qualified and did quite well in the ARBA Tournament of Champions, where the top winning dogs of each rare breed are selected to compete, finishing only a few points behind one of the winningest dogs in all of ARBA.
Hague was bred by Julie and Thorsten Schaffert in Canada.
Inca is a therapy dog and also now is the Santa Barbara Symphony dog, and has a new name for the Symphony - Professor Inca Wolfgang Poochini Binks. He was "the animal" in St. Saens "Carnival of the Animals" and met lots of children at the Arlington Theater in Santa Barbara.
